Waiting
I haven't met you yet or seen your face, but in my heart you hold a place. My hopes grow with each passing day,even though you're miles away. I know you're there waiting for me, as I am here waiting to see, the child God has sent from above, to make me a mother and share all my love.

Maya's 1st Day of Pre-school

Hello Everyone;

Today was Maya's 1st day in Pre-school. We decided that it was best for her to be placed in a specialized school where she will have contact with other children, and at the time she will be able to receive her therapies there. Mauri woke up at 5:00am in the morning, he wanted to make sure that his daughter was going to be up and running for her first day of pre-school!!! Maya was woken up by her daddy at about 6:45am.... Poor thing, I think Papi got too excited too early!!! Anyways, we were at the school at exactly 8:45am. That's the earliest of when we can drop her off. We videotaped her going in and while she was greeting some of her classmates. She was sooo happy to see other children. We had a chance to speak with Fanny (her teacher) and to try to get acquainted with each other and to go over what Maya's needs are. When we kissed her goodbye, she was so happy signaling bye-bye!!! She actually wanted us to leave (jajaja), and we wanted to stay with her. It's a bitter-sweet situation, but we need to do whatever is best for our daughter.

I called the school at about 11:00am so wee how Maya was doing on her 1st day of school and they told me that she was having a blast and she was at that moment dancing with her teacher!!! My daughter loves anything that has to do with music!!! We think she will be a great dancer!!!

I will post more later.....

Until then!!!
